Newsbrief and Guidelines
Hope this letter finds you and your family doing well healthwise and otherwise, at this time, we are all doing well so far here at the Stockyard, just trying to get used to doing business a little differently. For the past 10 weeks we have had a strict cattle unloading policy as well as keeping our office doors locked most of the time and also limiting our Sale Ring crowd to just bonded order buyers and employees.
First thing to remember is that this change has come about because of Covid-19 is all for the health of our employees as well as our customers. As of 6-3-20 we will start implementing the next phase of our crowd control here but still with specific guidelines.
- Please call before you come to SALE.
- Only persons (Buyers) who have called and gotten "the OK" will be allowed in SALE RING.
- Only persons who are seriously considering buying cattle will be allowed to come.
- Only 20 more persons will be allowed in at this time due to "Social Distancing".
- We ask that NO sellers or spectators or children under 18 come to sale until approved at later date hopefully.
- Absolutely DO NOT COME if you do not feel well.
If you are interested in buying Please Call and see if we have some cattle that will work for you. If you would rather not come anyway then myself or one of the other buyers will be glad to buy your cattle for you and you can arrange pickup or hauling.
Remember these precautions are for your health as well as ours. Don`t ever underestimate the appreciation we have for your business and certainly don`t ever underestimate the power of prayer.
All classes of cattle have seen prices much better the last two weeks. We are here to serve you. Please contact us to discuss selling or buying plans anytime.
Please contact our office if you need help on gatherimng your selling information by eligibility on CFAP payments if you sold cattle between Jan 15 and May 14 this year (2020). Thank you once again for your friendship and understanding during this time.
